My work reflects a journey of self acceptance and transformation through distinctly ambiguous creatures. Abstracted and distorted bodies are more accurate to my self-perception than realistic depictions of the human body. I use non-human characters to explore what it means to be a person.

Jason Nawrocki is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Twin Cities. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota in 2023, he has continued a steady printmaking practice and involved himself with the MSP art community. He has exhibited at North Suburban Center for the Arts, Fresh Eye Gallery, and the Nash Gallery.
